In 1990 Charles Patrick formed his own subsidy publishing business, Patrick Publications (Indio Bravo Press, Bois d'Arc Press, Patrick (Historical) Publications). The first publication was an instructional method book for the accordion, which has consistently been marketed successfully throughout the United States.
